Stop by the Main Library to see our tribute to the late great Stephen Sondheim, who passed this weekend at the age of 91.
Sondheim composed and wrote the lyrics for some of Broadway’s most prolific shows including West Side Story, Company, Follies, Sunday in the Park with George, Sweeney Todd, and Into the Woods.
During his career he won an Oscar, 8 Grammy Awards, and 8 Tony Awards. He received a Kennedy Center Honor in 1993 and the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2015.
